Sorry you had to become another victim of reverse bullying. If you're parents are proud, then I'd think you'll be just fine.
**** your school, op. At least you stood up for yourself. Hopefully that'll be the one and only time.
You may have gotten suspended, but you stood up for yourself and showed him you won't take it. Good job OP, hopefully he doesn't mess with you anymore!
Most of the time, teachers can't help with bullies. You did the right thing, and be prepared to do it again. You're no longer a victim. You've won a fight. There will be more bullies and you'll have to handle it the same way. Fighting will earn you respect. I suggest taking boxing lessons and getting on the wrestling team if you have one locally or your school has one. Guys on the wrestling team look out for each other. It's a bond similar to our soldiers. Wrestlers are the outcasts of the sports world, but its worth it. You'll have fun, grow friendships, and learn how to properly defend yourself.
This. At the least, you can threaten the school that you will be calling the police if the problem doesn't clear up. My friend used to get the shit beat out of him by 3+ other guys. When he came home with the bruises his mom would call the school angrily, but the bs she'd receive is "oh, boys are just being boys," "we haven't noticed anything," or my favorite "if he's getting beaten up, he probably did something to deserve it." Eventually she told them if he came home beaten up one more time, she'd be calling the police. And that is when the school actually stepped in.
You should take this to your school board. If they'll punish you for protecting yourself when they won't, then you are completely within your rights to take it to someone higher. And, if they won't do anything about it, then go to the media. Tell your story, gather allies, and start a movement to not just yourself but also future victims. So many schools have anti-violence policies but they don't have anything for bullies and they do absolutely nothing to stop them and they don't realize that it can have a major negative affect on the victims and it could cause a really negative mental outlook and affect their mental health to the point where they want to kill themselves. And it's only at that point that the schools care enough to actually speak up about the issue and be all "this could have been prevented had they just come to us." and it's really not okay. Bullying needs to be eliminated. Sorry you got in trouble for defending yourself, OP, especially while your bully goes free and unpunished.
fight it and get legal if you have too. make the school pay for not stopping a bully
I feel your pain as I went through the same thing back in high school. The left hook I gave to my bully far out weighed the school's punishment. My parents didn't punish me and were glad that I finally stood up for myself because the school turned a blind eye on bullied victims. Oddly enough we even became friends after that.

You may have gotten suspended, but he now know what you can and will do. Don't see this entirely as a problem, as it may have been your solution.
Screw the school as long as your not in trouble at home consider it a win
