My Mom never texts me unless she needs to. But teaching her how to text is a good thing, what if one day she ran out of minutes and couldn't call you, she'd need to text you. But if you didn't reply, YTDI. If you did, then FYL.

haha. Reminds me of my grandma. I taught her to text, she isn't crazy testing every minute, but when she does text she takes about an hour per text and puts her name at the end because she doesn't realise that it shows who it's from.
