My husband's father only fathered four of his eight children and the rest are his brother's. My husband is his father's but... he has brother cousins :(

I'm assuming that his brother has similar genes to him, you know, like most immediate family members. His children could look like him, while not actually being his. Or maybe thye just look like the wife. In short, it would be incredibly hard to actually know about it without suspicion in the first place, and even then, a paternity test would be necessary.
