Today, I found out I'm going to be a grandfather. I'm 29, my son is 13 and the girl in question is 16. FML

Now if your grandson gets a child, you'll have done what takes most a century to do, in less than half. Congrats, future great grandpa!

I suppose I'm the only one wondering how the **** a 13 yo got a 16 yo to have sex with him. Is he that good or is she that slutty?

They couldn't have just liked each other? I don't necessarily agree with the age range but those are some bad assumptions.

I'm wondering how they met as they should be in different schooling levels. I went through K-12 on the same campus but even then the highschool and middle schools were pretty seperate. My best guess: OP has a girl in his grade that is the mothers younger sister, lil sis has a crush on OP, OP gets wind of big sis, big sis and OP do the deed, lil sis is crushed when she finds out about the pregnancy.

Maybe she's that good and he's that slutty. Did that possibility ever cross your mind?

History repeating itself. Hopefully you accept some responsibility for this. Break the cycle. Educate. Do something! It's obviously too late now but maybe you can teach your child how to prevent it from happening again.

My parents always told me " use us as a warning not an example"

Did you ever tell him about what sex is for he might have held back or at least have had a condom on him to prevent this

You were 15 when you had your son... That would make you 11 when you had your daughter. I guess it runs in the family? YDI for being rude to your 16 year old pregnant daughter when you had your first child at age 11

Where the heck does it say he's got a 16 year old pregnant daughter? He didn't say this was incest!!

No, the girl isn't his daughter, the boy is. He was 16 when he had him.

127: Reading comprehension FAIL! Can't tell if trolling or just stupid.

You were 16 when your son was born. Give me a good reson why that isn't bad, but your son having a kid is.

Ins0mau 20

Where did he say that what HE did wasn't bad? He was only a kid then too. No doubt he regrets his mistake now.

Assumed reaction: That's my boy!! Inpregnating girls and what not.. Up top lil, man

Are we really ignoring the part that the mother is a sixteen year old girl? What sixteen year old does that with a thirteen year old boy? Because I've only got a couple of ideas here. And the rest of you, have you lost your brains? Saying that just because it happened with his parents this was to be expected? That logic is screwed up and does not justify what happened. Still, I hope things work out well for you guys, op. This sounds rather stressful to be deal with.

So it's okay for an older guy to have sex with a younger girl but a younger guy can't have sex with a older girl? Stfu.

Do not twist my words into something they are not. And if you are insistent on doing something that inane, do tell me where I said that exactly? I just find it odd for their age since I am guessing they would be in different schools, and when I was sixteen, girls that age were not exactly look to do anything with junior high age students. There are details that are missing in that area, but they are not our business.

Thank you for finally saying what I've been thinking. You hit the nail on the head.

been reading these comments for a while now, making a few of my own and I've been thinking back to my not so younger years and I realized that there were at least 4 instances of older girl younger guy relationships in my relatively small school (graduating class less than 200) and I've decided this just might be one of those things that happens more than you think but is shocking when shit goes down. and by older girl younger guy I mean at least 3 years age difference. I can remember 2 older guy younger girl, but they were Freshman - Senior/Junior, so not quite the same but whatevs. Also from my observations of older female couples I'm willing to believe OPs son is tall for his age. Not saying girls will just go crazy on any tall guy, it's just an observation.
