I'm a horse rider myself, and even I wouldnt do that.
then obviously your not dedicated enough.
Or they realized that a successful life is a tad more important
If it wasn't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college.
LOL! This is far from an FML. Take out loans and go get your education on your own like the other 90% of the population who don't have mommy and daddy's checkbook. Learn how to do something for yourself and grow the f up OP!
ya... tht would b when I secretly shove the horse down the hill.
Oh please. You can't possibly convince me that if your parents planned to pay for your college education, you'd refuse.
How is she a "lazy ass" when she grew up with the expectation that her parents were going to pay for her education? If you have always been told that your college is going to be paid for, why would you expect anything else? Obviously the family has enough money to keep a horse in the first place, so it's not as if they grew up with money being a huge issue. Not only that, but that probably means the OP wouldn't qualify for financial aid, in that case. It's not like they just hand it out to everyone. Obviously there are other options, but having to drastically change your plans and do something you probably weren't at all prepared for doesn't make you a "lazy ass".
Dude, fyl since you will have to PAY FOR IT YOURSELF. Shit, if you give up and decide to just not have an education and have a worthless life just because you will have to work harder for it what makes you think that you would do well in college even if it was free? Yea, fyl since a lot more work and a few more difficult years are ahead before your life can begin, but don't just lay down and die, that will mean you will have nothing BUT difficult years.

You must end the horse. An unfortunate accident would work.
Someone else paying for their college ed wasn't even an option for 90% of the people I know. Get a loan, get a job, pay for it yourself.
