Today, we got a letter regarding my sister's college career and an appointment she was required to go to. This seems fitting, since she's a senior in high school, or at least she would be if she hadn't passed away a little over a year ago. FML

Today, my younger sister's dog broke its leg. The vets are closed today so instead of going on a date with a girl I have been trying to get for at least 2 years, I need to carry an 80 lb. dog that hates me, up and down the stairs. I already got bit twice. FML

Today, I found out that my dad paid for my sister's friend's airplane ticket so she could attend my sister's wedding. I would have been there myself, but I couldn't afford the airplane ticket. FML

Today, my sister finally broke down and told me that our dad gambled away of all my college savings, and I would have to pay for school the best way I can. They have known for months, and when I asked why nobody told me, the reply was, "You're a college boy, we thought you would figure it out." FML

Today, my horse learned a new acrobatic trick. Unfortunately, I was still on top of him when he tried to somersault. The horse is fine. I'm in the hospital, fresh out of surgery for a broken femur. FML

Today, I told my professor that I'll be missing class next week due to upcoming surgery. I asked if I could take the exam that I'd otherwise miss another day. He said no, and that I'd just have to take a failing grade, then wished me luck with the surgery. FML

Someone else paying for their college ed wasn't even an option for 90% of the people I know. Get a loan, get a job, pay for it yourself.

first it would cost money to get rid of the horse, and second if I was the sister I would be pissed and want another horse therefor my parents would take the college money to go buy another one so either way, your spending money

YDI for giving up so easily. YDI for having a sister with a horse. YDI for having a sister. YDI for having ambition. Sell the horse's meat to a dog food factory and its hooves to a glue factory. No more surgery-needing horse, and now there'll be money for college and surplus money for other things. Problem solved. Glad to help.

if it were you needing surgery, you wouldn't be complaining...a horse is a living creature, and deserves help when hurt. If you want to go to college, pay for it yourself.
