I have two chronic illnesses and im in the hospital frequently too): i have had many boyfriends that are rude and inconsiderate but ive had just as many that understand it completely. Just dump him and start looking for a more considerate man! (:

Sorry, but I wouldn't date you either. Not saying you aren't a wonderful person...but out of pure experience, it's way too much. Hope you get better though

No offense, but you are 'high maintenance'. On that part. Although I don't think it'd be something worth breaking up for, he does have a point.

I've been in a similar situation because of chronic illness. Even though you know he's a jerk for not caring or not at least understanding, it still hurts. The fact that he would even think of it as "high maintenance" proves that point. It IS hard on any partner in a relationship, but it's harder on you, and you deserve respect.

i've had the same problem with my ex. I got really sick and was in and out of the hospital every other week. You'll find some one better!! =]
