Run as fast as you can to the nearest bookstore and buy her something actually useful. Before your sister thinks parenting is supposed to come with a shitton of drama..

If by being a good parent she means being white trash, then yes, very well

Because there are no such thing as a black, Asian, Indian, Latino, etc. teen mom?

Go listen to WTP, eminem Despite the name, "white trash" knows no race "Now whether you're black white or purple if you're misunderstood, but you don't give a ****, you aunt doin shit that you should"

long as you know you're up to evil and you're no damn good get on the floor mayne and rep your hood

Oh shit. Might as well put the baby up for adoption now.

The would be better off with a Dr. Seuss book

Obviously you being the brighter of the two, maybe you should have a sit down with her and perhaps teach her a little, and parenting books for the baby shower is clearly a must.

If she plans to do the exact opposite she's golden. Nobody is useless. They can always serve as a bad example.

I don't want to live on this planet anymore...

Adopt the child after it's born, before your sister kills the poor little thing.

Uhhhh...adoption would work out if nobody in OP's family had the child plus adoption is very hard. I gave my child to a family member in South Carolina and it was way hard to give my son to her, but I have comfort knowing he's well cared for and I can see him whenever I want.

Has anyone thought that maybe she is watching it to find out what NOT to do? Im trying to stay as positive as possible about this but if she actually thinks that the show will teach her things, you may want to invest in a parenting class or book for her. Don't get me wrong, Ive watched the show once or twice and there are occasionally good young parents, but the majority of them were DEFINITELY not ready for kids.

Better than toddlers in tiaras I guess.
