ydi for letting yourself get THAT dehydrated...
Want to know what's scary? Last summer, I saw printed on a box of Coke, "Anything you drink hydrates you!" I was shocked...how can that be ethical? A lot of people don't know that sugary and/or caffeinated drinks really don't count as hydration. Water is your friend, the only one you can trust.
BYSTANDER SYNDROME
YDI, dehydration is easily preventable.
I wouldn't help this person, they should have drank something amd not of been such a needy ****. I hate you needy people who can't do anything yourself.
Why to people from other countries always have to use the person being American as the reason why this happened. stfu. To be honest, if I saw a little girl pass out on the ground, I'd most likely try to get her some help. However, if I saw an adult pass, I'd think twice because there are people who do crap like that with the intent to harm a person that is willing to help him/her.
My mom has a rule about soda/sugary drinks. If you have one glass of soda, that's -1 glass of water, and you need to make it up. Staying hydrated is one of the most important things to do and many people sadly don't even think about it.
You actually have a better chance of getting help if only a few people are around than if you're in a crowd. Everybody ends up thinking somebody else will help. If there's only a few people around, those few will tend to feel a greater responsibility to help.
