That's entirely baseless and pretty sexist. All you know is the OP had one one-night-stand while the guy had two within a month. Honestly, from the tone of the comments in here the majority of you are hardly better than religious fundamentalists stoning women to death for rape or adultery. I really believe if most of you were raised in a culture where you could get away with this sort of action against women who sleep around, you would without hesitation. I don't think you really get what a non sequitur is... If you want to say it's irrelevant, irrelevant is actually the word you want to use for that. Or were you just looking for an excuse to use an expression you thought would have to be defined for others because you're oh so much smarter? Regardless of your poor wording, it's not really irrelevant. The guy had slept with at least two women in one month. From what the OP has said we can only assume she's slept with the one guy. To imply she is the one acting promiscuously is sexist. My comment saying that if raised in another culture where it could be considered acceptable, the majority of these commenters would most likely revert to that sort of behaviour was not aimed specifically at the person I was replying to, as should be fairly clear from the wording, but the majority of commenters saying ydi/i hope you get aids/kill yourself/ABORT/use a coat hanger/etc.

Actually I think people should be stoned for cheating on their spouses, or at least severely punished otherwise. Don't try to justify this for them just because omg teh porr wominz. They're skanks, through and through. You sleep with THE SAME GUY and don't use protection any sort of protection, then expect the douche to take care of your kids, you are a stupid *****. I'm not sure you can really start a comment saying you think people deserve to be stoned for cheating on their spouses and expect to be taken seriously, but I'll pretend you were trying to be taken seriously nonetheless. It's her fault she's pregnant, yes. It's not her fault the guy also slept with her room mate and got her pregnant also, or that the father decided not to take responsibility despite being just as responsible as her. It certainly does not warrant people to scream that they think she must ABORT!/think she must adopt that kid out because her life must fail in every possible way/suicide/dies of aids. I'm very sorry if you think that is even remotely close to being acceptable or justifiable behaviour, especially for the people who know you in real life and have to deal with such judgmental and self righteous hatred.

They CHEATED on their SPOUSE, the person who LOVES and TRUSTS them. You don't think they deserve any punishment whatsoever for betraying someone to satisfy their lusts? Who cheated? The OP never said she was in a relationship. Or are you just talking about people who cheat in general? If you fall in love with someone else, it's not with bad intention. You can't help who you love, and as miserable as unrequited love can be, it's not a crime to fall out of love with someone. You sound very bitter and jaded. To say they deserve stoned is disgusting, small minded and evil. You can't say how people in one night stands feel about each other. You have no idea. Sure, some of them don't care about each other. But a lot have a mutual understanding that they both want sex and there's no harm in doing something pleasurable or will have a one night stand with a friend, or both just want to take comfort in the act of being with another person in an intimate manner. There is nothing wrong or disgusting about that. Since the OP and her friend both knew him, it is quite likely they had some kind of friendship or relationship prior to sleeping together. The guy had one condom break, it quite possibly had something to do with him putting the condom on incorrectly, and if that was the case it's likely it would happen twice. This would not be the OPs fault. If the guy was a jerk(it would seem he is seeing as he is taking no responsibility), he could have slipped the condom off during sex without the OP knowing. Again, not her fault. The point is, you don't know the situation and enjoying sex and one night stands does not define a person in any way whatsoever. Judging from your bitter small mindedness that is usually present in those often rejected or disappointed in life my guess is the OP is better educated and in a better position to raise children than you are.

I very much doubt if she randomly picked up some guy at a bar and had sex with him that she took down his contact details and then recommended him to her friends. That is very far fetched. I said it could be about a lot of things and none of those things make having a one night stand wrong if they are both consenting adults. It is not unlikely the condom broke twice. Almost all condom failures are due to them being put on incorrectly. Seeing as it is generally the guy putting the condom on it is fair to assume if it broke once due to him putting it on incorrectly that it could easily happen a second time. And like I said above, he could've slipped the condom off while they were having sex without her noticing, as this is something that does happen.
