Today, I found out that me and my best friend are both pregnant. We live together, and both had one night stands with the same guy. Now we are going to be each raising his children in the same house while he has decided to "not get involved" and move to a different state. FML

As do mine. The majority of pro-lifers believe it's murder. Otherwise, what is your objection to the amount of abortions? Why would it become more "wrong" the more it happens? It only effects the woman's own fertility and that's a choice she can make for herself. I don't think there are any pro-lifers who would save the child over the mother. Making an exception for rape and incest however, if you truly believe it is murder like the very large majority of pro-lifers, is simple hypocrisy.

To say the vast majority of pro-lifers believe abortion is murder does not make them radical, nor does how you express that belief have anything to do with the belief itself. I agreed in saying most pro-lifers wouldn't advocate saving the child over the mother so I don't know why you're trying to make a point about this? I said when you make exceptions for rape and incest you are making allowances for murder, if you believe abortion is murder, like the vast majority do. That should be a very simple concept to grasp.. I'm not judging pro-lifers by calling them hypocrites when they have a hypocritical belief. To say something is murder but then say you can dictate when murder is alright in cases where it is not endangering the mothers life is hypocrisy. It's not really a debatable view, or even an opinion really. Simply fact. Regardless, an opinion on abortion which effects others (depending on your view, either the unborn childs or the women who lose rights to make decision about their own bodies and lives) is not really comparable to an opinion about sterilizing people based on your think they are disgusting for having sex freely which has no effect on anyone but them and their consenting partners.

ewwwwwww you're gross... unless this guy had amazing super sperm that managed to get through a condom, you just admitted that both you and your roommate don't use protection when you have a one night stand threesome. Nothing wrong with a threesome if that's your thing, but for god's sake, use condoms. You have no idea where he's been. I think pregnancy should be the least of your worries right now.

YDI. Don't have sex with random guys. God forbid anyone has sex with/loses thier virginity to someone they actually love, because thats what its about. Thats what you get for not using a condom also, God forbid, you have STDs. As much as you are a ******* moron, I wouldn't wish STDs on anyone. And no, I'm not some preachy religious freak.

Also, what about when the child grows up not even knowing who her father is? If he does come back, chances are you won't fall in love, or be in an abusive relationship, or constantly fight, and I assume you're not too smart. This can traumatize you're child. But these are all assumptions (excuse the spelling, correct me if I am wrong) because this is the first thing that pops into my head when I read this.

Perhaps if the OP could post her FML without people feeling the need to insult her principles, choices, life and the life of her unborn child. Seriously, people call her a ****, make the typical crass coat hanger jokes and pity her unborn child and you get upset over me adding a fairly neutral balance to those comments and saying quite possibly the OP isn't an evil, immoral bitch who is out to destroy the life of her offspring, offend anyone with a shred of moral and spread disease? That's very... interesting and says quite a bit about the sort of person you are to be honest.
