So what? Its "beautiful" as you said (if its sarcasm, whatever...), it shouldn't really matter. Damn, some people are materialists to death
what are you, 9?
sorry but I gotta agree with 57. you're the one who's got butthurt. someone who doesn't hesitate to call someone else names (like "materialistic bitch") has no argument. btw, what the hell does tl;dr mean?
it shouldn't matter how much the ring cost. your just being selfish.
Hmmm... Starve and spend $2000 on a ring she may hate, or have groceries for awhile and spend $19.90 on a ring she will like? Tough call, eh? Why is it always about the money rather than practicality with women? It works the same with weddings, where the woman would rather spend $10,000 on her "dream wedding" which is nothing more than a one-day party than have a conservative wedding and put the money towards something long-term like a house. Sorry, I just don't get it.
I dont get it either. The prices of wedding dresses would probably get you a small car. I wouldn't even have the conservative wedding I would have no wedding at all, its a waste of money. You want the legal trappings of a wedding then go sign the marriage lisence and drag your best friends to the pub after. Least that way everyone will actaully enjoy the day.
@#94 If he called within the 2 minutes he would have gotten a second one for free :P . Anyway, that is a poor analogy. I notice people's shirts but rarely ever notice jewelry let alone get close enough to it to know if it is real or fake. Jewelry is just decoration, for show only. It is not something that is required for survival like food, water or shelter. It is nothing but a waste of money, so the less spent on it the better.
It's not the price that matters, it's the heart behind it. I'd say yes even if my man gave me a ring he found in a Cracker Jack box.
The question is.... How much will his ring be??
You are an idiot. You've clearly stated you think the ring is beautiful, why isn't that enough? It shouldn't matter if the ring came out of a cracker jack box. Real diamonds don't make a marriage last any longer. Weddings are ridiculously expensive. Did it ever occur to you that maybe he's saving money he could have spent on a (probably unattractive) expensive ring for the actual ceremony or the honey moon? You need to get over yourself. The price of your ring does not in any way equate to how much he thinks you're worth.

The important thing is that you like it and he got it for you.
it's the thought that counts as long as it's beautiful why does it even matter and money is hard these days so wow
