I saw the ad on TV today for that ring and LMAO on how lame that shit is, but wasn't it for $119? I saw it on a website on sale for $40. Anyways, it's still lame!
Who cares? It's the thought that counts.. Fyfl, he found a stuck up prick...
hideous ring? yes. profession of love? yes. love is a bit more important. you liked it before you saw the price tag.
It's the meaning, not the cost that matters you ungrateful little ho-bag.
she going to crash in a tunnel and die
Be grateful, I love that ring! my engagement ring costs WAY less!!! Let's just say that my ring turns my finger green.
It's the thought that counts. A rich snob could have proposed to you with a million dollar ring and then he could have more likely cheat on you, due to his options and wealth. So far the man you have, hasn't cheated on you I assume. So OP I think you should shut the **** up, be happy, and go make him his goddamn sandwich!!!

No, they are about respect, love, trust and honor. Money has nothing to do with it. Being materialistic doesn't either. For all we know, he could have lied to her and made up a big story about spending a lot of money on it and the ring itself being real. People want to automatically assume she's materialistic, especially all of the other women on this site, when they know damn well they wouldn't be happy either. I don't care what any of you say. Once you realize that it's not about material, but about consideration, maybe you'll understand what I'm trying to say. Don't assume she's shallow, just because she expects more from the person she's going to marry. Holding yourself and your loved ones to higher standard isn't a bad thing. Don't judge what you don't understand and can't comprehend. I don't think she's arguing the fact that her marriage should be about the cost of the ring, but more about the sensitivity and sentiment that her fiance should have. It's obvious he hurt her feelings and had he made a big ordeal about it and put a ton of thought into it, I doubt she'd be bitching about it.

The important thing is that you like it and he got it for you.
