have a smaller wedding, have a bigger honeymoon.
If you can't pay for your own wedding, save the money and just get legally married. Or is that not good enough? Do you just want to get married or do you HAVE to have a huge party? Silly whining. Go on honeymoon when you're well established and can actually afford it without going bankrupt or depending on someone else.
I'm sure it's been said a gojillion times, but they don't pay for that, not even traditionally. on the upside, at least you won't get signed up for a surprise... abstinence seminar? I got nothin. Go to Utah for your honeymoon, they like sex there.
boo ******* hoo. YDI forbeing a selfish whiny brat
YDI for thinking that mommy and daddy will provide you with anything you want.
Seriously? Pay for your own honeymoon. It's a privilege. My fiance and I are getting married in one month today, and we decided to marry less than a week ago. He's paying for the entire thing (food, my dress, bridesmaid dresses, hall, honeymoon). If you guys can't afford to pay for a wedding and honeymoon, why would you even bother getting married? Would you be able to support yourselves?

Why don't you save and pay for it yourselves? That IS an option, you kno.
Agreed with the previous postings. Honestly, if you're old enough to be getting married, then you should be able to afford to pay for the wedding and the honeymoon. If you can't afford it, then you need to figure something out. It's not the parents responsibility, it's yours. YDI for not planning ahead.
