That's illegal considering the 4th amendment protecting us from search and seizure, meaning she could get in legal trouble if you press charges... Hopefully you didn't send or receive any nudes or drug deals

As an addendum, if your parents pay for the subscription, it is legally their phone, not yours. You are just using it as a privilege. If you want any chance at privacy, you have to at least be paying for it yourself.

The only way I think this is possible is that you use the same apple ID as your mom. Get your own account...problem solved.

My mom did the same and got mad over what I've been chatting (its totally appropriate) in my opinion its their fault for not giving privacy
