Incorrect. According to the law, minors have no rights of privacy, only adults do. It's a common misconception where social morals and actual law are being confused.

As an addendum, if your parents pay for the subscription, it is legally their phone, not yours. You are just using it as a privilege. If you want any chance at privacy, you have to at least be paying for it yourself.
The only way I think this is possible is that you use the same apple ID as your mom. Get your own account...problem solved.
