Today, my son told our whole family and all our friends that I kicked him out for being gay. I kicked him out because on more than one occasion he got drunk and sneaked random men in the house while he was supposed to be watching his younger siblings while I worked nights. They believed him. FML

Today, my neighbor confessed to me that he was homophobic and regrets that his family doesn't know it. He spent fifteen minutes explaining how much he would hate to have a gay child. I spent two hours last night convincing his son that it was the right thing to tell his family he was gay. FML

Today, my son brought his new girlfriend home. I took him aside and hugged him, reassuring him that I loved and accepted him no matter his sexual preference. He looked at me confused and asked what I meant. His girl was obviously trans, but he had no idea. I didn’t know he didn’t know. FML

You people are IDIOTS!!! His mother is NOT close-minded for not allowing girls in his room if he were straight; she does doesn't want him having sex! What parent would?! She let him have girls in his room because he was gay- this means HE DOES NOT LIKE WOMEN!!! I know several girls who have sleepovers with gay friends, and the gay friends aren't allowed to have sleepovers with guys, because the parents are afraid their kids will have sex (a very common worry amongst parents). Just because she doesn't want her (likely) teenage son ******* some chicks in her house does NOT mean she is close-minded!

Today, I have cynophobia. My dog-loving friend refuses to acknowledge that it's real. Her dogs are vicious and mean, and she believes it is cruel to muzzle them. Not to mention they're almost the size of me, and I'm 6'2 and 220lbs. This is literally why I have cynophobia in the first place. FML
