Today, I found out that the car I got a great deal on a few days ago, needs a new transmission. I'm now the proud owner of a very large and very expensive paperweight. FML

Buyer beware! Something too good probably means it is. A trip to your local mechanic might have been worth the trip for such a big investment! Live and learn!

#32- Which you're expecting to show a possibly faulty transmission? Nope, doesn't work that way.

Always have used car checked out!!

And you didn't know this when you took it out on a test drive? #FAIL,

That's why you get it checked out by a mechanic before you buy

I'm not sure an automobile would fit on your desk. So even as a paperweight, it is still useless.

Check to see if there is a lemon law in your state. Did you get it from a dealer? I'd be raising hell with them. Rights vary by state, do its worth checking into!

I work for a very large and very honest car dealer. If they were good they would fix it for you or split it or something. Never buy from an independent dealer (I.e. non ford, chevy, dodge, etc). Good luck my friend.

If the deal seems too good to be true then it probably is.
