Today, I found out that the car I got a great deal on a few days ago, needs a new transmission. I'm now the proud owner of a very large and very expensive paperweight. FML

You are beyond stupid if you purchase a car without test driving it. And if you test drove it and STILL didn't realize there was no transmission, please shred your drivers license and drink bleach until your heart stops.

I also bought a car with a clean history.... i was cleaning it and i found broken glass under the seat and duct tape on the bumber and glue on the side of the windshield but it still runs

Did you test drive it? Obviously if you try to move the car and it doesn't go anywhere you know something is wrong theres always that one car though
