Today, I found out that the reason I hadn't gotten pregnant yet was because my husband had a vasectomy after the birth of his son. He even had the nerve to continously tell me, "it'll happen soon, baby" and let me believe we were trying. FML

Is he the one who told you? Because if he's not, and if you're the extremely vengeful type, you should get pregnant (sperm bank or other method) and surprise him right back with the happy news.

Leave his ass. NOW. What a ******* asshole. I'm so sorry. This would be a total dealbreaker for me - the lying more than anything! I know what it feels like to TTC for a long time and wonder what's going on when you can't get prenant. What he did to you was intentional emotional abuse. He is scum.

How did you not know he had a vasectomy? You can't have sex for at least a week afterward, depending on the dr. and how a man feels. This may be something you can pursue in court if you find the right lawyer. He deliberately mislead you into believing you are trying for children. I contact a lawyer!
