Were they antibiotics to fight off a UTI? I remember when I took too much cold medicine and caught a wicked UTI (urinary tract infection). They gave me meds for it and two days in I would throw up randomly. Very gross and very weird. I stopped taking it.

how the hell did you get a uti from taking too much cold medicine? most uti's are caused from women not peeing after sex (according to cosmo) if u don't pee, bacteria find their way up your urethra and voila, an annoying uti.. peeing flushes out the bacteriafrom the entrance to your urethra.. and this is your health lesson for today

Hmmm...I wonder if this is the antibiotic that makes you vomit unexpectedly when you drink alcohol. I was prescribed an antibiotic once but the doc didn't tell me it will make you throw up if you drink alcohol. That night I had HALF of one drink and began throwing up violently. It wasn't until I told my doctor that he informed me that is the side effet of that particular drug.
