Today, I found out the reason why my therapist was so nice to me all of the time. Apparently, she is afraid that I'm going to stab her if she pisses me off. FML

They're nice to you because you pay them. Follow the money. If she thought you were really dangerous, she'd send you to a psychiatric hospital. She knows you are just a pussy full of rage and impotence. She's not afraid you'll pull out a knife, but that you'll put away your checkbook.

Don't worry about it until you see either people with a nice white jacket with lots of buckles and long sleeves or a policeman joining in on your sessions. :D

I work with psychiatrists. They see ppl they're scared of all the time. It's not cause if the pay check - they have waiting lists, even in the states. They often feel bad for being scared or really think they can help or are too chicken shit to refer out. They're usually scared cause the persons black (seriously), has a violent history, talks of harming others even If they say they won't really, etc

well she does deal with some crazy people. that's expected; it doesn't say anything about you. if I was a therapist, I wouldn't walk with any of my patients through a dark empty alley. who would?

People go to therapy for different reasons. Some are totally fine and safe and ok to walk in dark alleys with.

Ohh I'm sorry, I didn't realize that's how that would come across! I meant you never know someone for sure, and therapists DO deal with odd people. which means that she's cautious just from habit. But as I said, that doesn't show anything about you.
