The weight limit is 125 If you are a female doing it for the first time, otherwise it is 117!
This is why I feel like I can't give blood. I would just pass out every single time :( I think I'm too light to do it anyway
you can't help the way your body reacts, OP. (unfortunately). However, you are helping others. And we love you for it!
That's ok. Be sure to eat a good breakfast, and have a healthy lunch about 30 minutes before donating. Drink plenty of water all day, and during your donation session. If you start feeling shocky, ask for a cold pack to put on. They help a lot.
I totally get it, the first time I donated I had the same issue. Problem was, I fell out of the chair, slammed so hard onto the floor I gave myself an egg sized lump on my forehead. This happened with such momentum, it caused my body to flip over and give me a 2nd bump on the back of my skull too. Concussion anyone. Later, I found out this is called a vasovagal response. No good deed goes unpunished.

While your experience was unpleasant your gift of life is admirable. Thank you OP
Unfortunately it happens, OP. I passed out the first time I have blood. Next time, try sipping some juice or water while you're donating. That normally helps me!
