Lol what?
A parent that hovers over their kid and is over protective.
Hey, I feel for you. The exact same thing happened to me as well... for a good 6 years! :( It's unavoidable, you just have to learn to work around it... :OR throw a tantrum and try to tell them that it's stupid... :P
Well, what did you do for him not to trust you?
I considered the same question. Unfortunately I can see the answer being "nothing" and that OPs dad is just being excessively controlling.
LOL at #2. hm yes, just be patient :( but yeah it sucks
aww im sorry that suxx my parents use to do the same, but not as worse(it blocked certain words, sites etc from loading) though after getting a huge virus and having to clear my entire computer, my dad never put it back on =]
Like people have already said, you can easily undo that stuff. Being an administrator on a PC doesn't mean shit.
Take advantage of the situation! Constantly annoy him by downloading stuff and requesting his password. Eventually he may just give u the password, or even take off all of the restrictions. Btw, @ the people saying to download a Linux distro, that would work, except he can't download anything without his dad's permission. "hey son, why do u need to download a new operating system?" "uhhhh...". That would go over well.

Just download tons of horse **** on his computer. When he asks why, tell him that for some reason, you couldn't download anything on yours so you used his instead. :D
How old are you?
