Today, I got a computer. When I opened it, I found out that my dad had made himself the administrator. He made it so everything shut off after 11 o'clock, and made it so I couldn't download anything without his password. FML

Just download tons of horse **** on his computer. When he asks why, tell him that for some reason, you couldn't download anything on yours so you used his instead. :D

Maybe you should respect the fact that your father cares enough about you to want you to get enough sleep at night so you're not frying your brain on the computer until 3 AM and doesn't want you downloading potentially dangerous programs on your computer. Sounds like a pretty good dad to me. I hated the strict things my parents did growing up, but now I thank them for it.

#62 if their dad is using a program to block downloads and turn of everything, those programs can be hard to even find on the computer in the first place

Maybe you should be grateful that your dad cares about you. Just a thought.

My brother-in-law did the same thing. I ended up going away to a summer college program where I could not connect to the internet because I had no control over my internet settings. My friend fixed it for me and I subsequently deleted the other account. Some people are just ridiculous jerks and there's no getting around that.

I would make his life miserable until he put it back to normal. No one messes with my stuff because they know better :]

Yes, that is a good way to prove that he is responsible and mature enough to be trusted unsupervised on the computer.

my parents wouldnt even know how to do that.

If you are 18, either buy your own things or be grateful for what gifts you get. (and then make the necessary adjustments to those gifts :p ) If you are under 18, see audiogasmic's advice.
