This sounds like me...and probably will be if I have it my way by the end of '09. True friends are hard to come by....you could always send the rest to your "acquaintences?" The more the merrier :)

On the plus side, you've got a chance to make more friends in a new city.

That's what happens when you're really into your work... sometimes in life we gotta make choices, work or friends, you know? Most people can't be really good at both. To the people who mention they have more friends at school: Yeah I know, I'm with you guys, I have a LOT of friends at school, too. But that's "school". Most teens (unlike me) don't realize that when you get older and work 9 hours a day, you tend to have less friends. When you get home, most people just wanna eat, watch TV, do their wife, take a shower, and crash into bed. lol

That's what Facebook is for.
