Today, I got a flat tire. The spare was also flat, so I had no other choice but to walk home. I got to my house and realized I'd left the front door key and garage clicker in my car 5 miles away. FML

Today, I accidentally locked my car and house keys along with my phone in my car. Then I had to break into my own house looking for the spare. Someone called the police and I had to explain that I lived there. I forgot to grab the spare when I went to talk to the police officers I locked the door behind me. FML

Today, as usual, I went to pick up my brother and sister from school in the rain. When we got to my truck, I realized I had locked us out. We had to walk home in the rain, only to find the spare house key had not been put back in its spot since the last time it was used. FML

This has happened to me except I called my dad and he brought me the spare key to my car and if you didn't have a phone maybe you could have asked a neighbor or a friend for help? Sorry OP FYL

Am I the only one that keeps a can of fix a flat in my trunk? I also keep a 15 dollar tire pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Granted fix a flat makes it so they can't repair the tire but in a jam, it's not a bad thing to have. Even if the main tire had a puncture that prevented you from using it, it could have been used in the spare.
