Just finish reading the notice, and follow the directions for a postponement. I'm not sure what the rules are in your area, but I know in Miami you can postpone for around 2-3 months without even giving a reason. I postponed my last jury duty because it was scheduled for my birthday. I didn't have any plans, I just didn't feel like spending my birthday at the courthouse.
Tell the court your situation. You should be able to switch with someone
My cousin got a letter saying he had to report to jury duty on the day of my grandma's funeral and they didn't believe him and idk why but apparently something about him being 20 at the time
There's usually a way to get out of it or have your duty moved, so I wouldn't worry too much. Just contact them. It's much easier to find someone to sit on a bench all day than to reschedule a wedding.
I'm sure you can get out of it simply by stating that you have YOUR wedding. what a strange coincidence nonetheless
Do yourself a favor and go to the proper bureaucrat with your wedding invitation and explain the situation. If that fails, show up with the tux clad groom and the bride in her bridal gown with the entire wedding party to the jury screening. Ask the judge to marry you if they won't give you any leeway. Good luck and best wishes to you and your future mate :)
you can get out of jury duty just by telling them that you're getting married, if you have good excuses, you don't have to go
You can get it moved pretty easily

There are a million ways to get out of jury duty if push comes to shove just say you're racist...Even better if it's your own race so you got a little crazy going for you too haha
Ditch it. Wedding is more important
