At least you work more than the people who are getting hired. I've worked at my job for 2 years, and the people that are getting hired are making 25c more an hour than I do.

Today, I didn't get a raise. I've worked at my job for five years and make the same as people who have worked there for 3 minutes. FML, not yours.

Any place that has people who worked there for 3 years getting the same pay as new people is like, not the kind of job that would pay much anyway. McDonald's or Walmart?

Yeah it sucks sometimes, but, I'm guessing you work retail? Either way, companies especially in today's economic crisis rarely give out bonuses or raises. You're lucky to have a job, at least you didn't make a FYL about being fired from a job you've been working at for 3 years.

wow people. look for new jobs daily. stop being doormats. if new hires get more than you, find another place where you can start at a better wage and QUIT your current job. you'll probably find other doormats who have worked there for years and dont have the balls to walk out. I make $2.33 an hour, as a waitress. if it's dead, we can go home with $15 for the entire 5 hour shift. we get 1 cent raises, once a year. i would take the 10 cents any day.
