... A school zone is a school zone.... Totally deserved it
Well, are there a lot of kids in that area? Were you aware that it was school zone and still speeding just because you thought it made no sense? Yes and yes? Deserve it. Yes/No/No idea and no? Then I say go to court because it wouldn't be fair if you had no idea.
If there were signs displaying the school zone speed limit, then YDI for disobeying them. If there weren't signs or anything telling you to drive at a reduced speed, then you can probably fight it.
YDI, if there are posted speed signs, you have to follow it whether or not the school is built. PLUS if the school is being constructed, there is also reduced speed limits for that.
Because children never actually live near schools. You do realize that the "school zone" is there to protect the children, not the school, right?
Sounds like something they'd do in Edmonton... Those money hungry b******
And for the comment about it being for the children not the school.. If there's no school built yet, there wouldn't be children running around would there
I blame Obama.
is that even legal?

Were there signs?
Most officers I know are reasonable and respectable. The few who aren't ruin the reputation of the rest, similar to the idiots who ruin it for those who have some small amount of common sense.
