I call bullspit on this. There's more to the story than we're hearing. I know tons of LEO's and nobody writes a ticket for 1 over. There's more to it than just the officer writing the ticket at 1 over for his daughter's ex.

They'll throw it out. The judge doesn't like his time being wasted. My dad got a ticket for 1 mile over for being a smart ass, and they just threw it out because it's basically nothing. And then, file a complaint against the cop for harassing you. :) Then, he won't be allowed to deal with you anymore.

your life totally sucks. I've been pulled over 11 times with only ONE ticket. one of those times I didn't get a ticket, I was going 18 over and another one I didn't get a ticket on, I was going 24 over

ttheyre actually not aloud to give u a ticket if ur only goin one over. most dont pull you over if ur going 13 mph overrr the limit. i know this b/c i went to police camp last year (:
