Today, I got an acceptance later to a great boarding school in India for my senior year of high school. I sent them a letter telling them I wouldn't go, because I just got back with my ex-boyfriend. I just got a text from my boyfriend. Guess who's my ex again? FML

Today, my boyfriend informed me that he'd resolved all the issues with his ex and is getting back together with her. Normally I could tolerate this if it weren't for the fact that I just moved to a different country to live with him, and turned down a university and a scholarship. FML

Today, I was accepted to college and received a scholarship equal to almost half the tuition. After sharing this news with my parents, I spent the next 35 minutes getting yelled at about how I wasn't allowed to go there because my boyfriend might go there. FML

Today, I was chilling with my best friend and suddenly I got a text from my ex saying he wanted me back. My best friend saw the text and said, "Don't go back with him, you deserve better." I wanted to go back with him but I didn't. Later, I saw them hanging out and turns out they're dating. FML

Today, I got a large envelope from a college I applied to earlier. My mom, expecting big news, made my family gather round as I opened it. It ended up being a letter of rejection from not just that school, but all three campuses of the state college. FML

that was pretty dumb. why would you miss an amazing experience for your boyfriend. hmm...boyfriend that didn't work or a whole f***ing year in india....? however much it sucks, it was your own mistake. pretty much a terrible idea to chose something that will inevitably be temporary over a permanently life changing experience. maybe you can still go? but if a boyfriend means more....you hardly deserve to.

yeah, definitely YDI. it sucks ass, but YDI. um. just curious. why are you even planning on spending your senior year in a boarding school? Shouldn't you be living it up with your friends at your current school? It IS you last year.

Why the hell would you turn down a "great" school for the ex-boyfriend you just got together with? You're an idiot. You really decided not to go to a certain school because of your boyfriend?
