Today, I got dumped by my girlfriend of 4 years because I didn't know the exact amount of days that we'd been together. FML
I agree, your life sucks 64 501

Same thing different taste

For some reason, I don't think that was the actual reason for why she dumped you. And if after four years, and that's her only reason, then... How did you guys manage to be together that long?

I wonder if this is the OP actually saying "I couldn't remember our anniversary" and has trivialised it by saying "exact number of days" :P

Looking for an excuse or you were nuts for putting up with a psycho like that for so long.

Your answer should be/should have been "too many".

weird. when i read this FML I immediately thought that that was just an excuse to get out of the relationship. i see i'm not the only one who thinks so. :P

i hate girls like that. she really doesn't deserve you if she dumped you for that.

Whats important is that you were hers at the moment..o_o doesn't really matter exactly many days you've been together, unless it was like 2 or 3 or something. If she dumped you over something stupid like that, you deserve a better girl, which I know you'll find (:

That wasn't the real reason she dumped you. She's probably a stupid ***** ho that can't appreciate what she's got. Don't worry, she'll probably end up dying of the hivee.

She dumped you because you used the word "amount" where "number" is correct. Grammar fail.

Lol, I was just coming here to say that.

God, I ******* hate grammar nazis. I mean, I've been known to be pretty strict, but chrissake. Go choke on a dick, would you?

amount, n. 1. The sum total to which anything mounts up or reaches: a. in quantity. b. in number. -Oxford English Dictionary So, although I would agree with you that "number" probably would have sounded better, "amount" is correct. :P
