the only way people get " fired" from volunteer work is if they do something thats bad. I know because I volunteer and the people that do get asked to leave are the trouble makers, disrespectful, lazy with bad attitudes teenagers/college students that need volunteer hours on their record to graduate.

Actually, OP may not have done anything wrong. It's possible that the people in charge just didn't like them or needed something done that OP wasn't qualified for. (Ex - maybe there was a certain skill such as filing and OP is dyslexic, or maybe there's a requirement on lifting heavy items and OP simply wasn't able to do it). I got fired from a volunteer job once too. All I had to do was scan books to see if they would sell at a thrift shop. Some books (like text books) I had to "use my best judgment". The person above me didn't like my judgment calls. The person above her was confused b/c he thought I was doing a good job. As it turned out, that lady fired MANY volunteers because she prefered working alone. So now I'm giving OP the benefit of the doubt. (tl/dr)

There are some jobs where this is common. If you kill someone in volunteer EMS or firefighting damn straight you're getting fired.
