Today, I got an e-mail from a company saying that I would not be a good fit for them. Strangely, it's quite similar to an e-mail they sent me last month. And the month before. They aren't generated e-mails, each one is different. They just e-mail me every month to remind me that I suck. FML

Today, I finally read an email I'd been avoiding. I thought it would be from my dad whom I haven't spoken to in years, and that he was checking on me during the pandemic. It turned out to be spam. The last contact I had with anyone related to my dad was one of his ex's friends, saying she was in jail and needed help. FML

Either I'm clairvoyant or I've read this FML before. Weeks ago. Anyhow, OP, there is someone out there for everyone. You don't say how old you are or whether you were involved with anyone more than 10 years ago but if you just try to get out and meet people as much as you can - join clubs etc relating to anything that interests you, for example - then one of these days you'll stumble upon that special person. Good luck - and don't give up.

Can't believe I'm explaining, but... OP said SHE got an email today saying she'd have no love life for the next ten years if she didn't reply. She then stated that wouldn't be any different from the last ten years. She's saying she didn't reply but, even if their prediction is true, it doesn't change anything.
