That bites. We took in a younger friend who was in a bad situation. He's about to take his test for the Navy. You can be sure we will be there to cheer him on when he graduates basic, no matter how far it is. Congrats op. You are about to start something amazing. And I want to thank you for your service you will be giving to all of us.
go overseas to somewhere like Japan or Germany that way they really have an excuse not to visit...
Get over it boot. It's graduation from boot camp, not returning from a deployment.
Do you have any idea the hell that these recruits go through??? You are a disrespectful bitch for saying it is only boot camp. You should be ashamed of yourself for stating that. OP congratulations on your achievement and screw your family for not taking the time to be there to see you graduate. Thank-You for your services and stay safe no matter where you are stationed!!! God Speed!!!
ARE YOU SERIOUS YOU TOOK MY COMMENT AWAY FOR CALLING HER A BITCH. SHE IS A BITCH FOR WHAT SHE SAID.
I'm sorry OP! That's very horrible of them! I drove 10 hours to see my fiancé graduate even though there was a chance he wasn't going to. 30 minutes is nothing. Looks like you're better off without them. *hugs*
Seriously? Thirty minutes? Wow, your family is horrible. More power and love to you. Thank you for your service!
Congratulations! sucks your family wouldn't go. Thank you for serving our country!
Oh. My. God. That's just vile. My family flew from California to Kentucky for my brother, and these deadbeats can't get their sorry asses 30 minutes down the road?!? You remind them of this *forever*, OP, don't let them forget how much they suck.

Congratulations and thank you for the service. They are missing out on seeing a real hero
Well, that's their loss. They'll regret it eventually, not that it helps now. You're doing a great thing and you deserve their respect.
