Metal boob job?
When do you get your results
Why did this get so many thumbs down? Okay so if something us horribly wrong, would you rather have a tech not tell you, then you go home like nothing wrong and then die from whatever is wrong with your chest. Or would you rather have the tech tell you that theres a problem so you can see a doctor and get it fixed?
You really shouldn't have to be in the medical field to know that tech isn't the same thing as doctor.
I think OP is a little worried and maybe thought he heard it but the technician was just saying something else like sweet man your good or something and interpreted as something else
techs are not aloud to tell u they'll get In trouble big time when I had a ultrasound of my tummy for pain I asked him if everything was ok he said I can't tell u the doctor will n turned out everything was ok which was stupid but it's pretty ****** up the tech gasped and said that I'd be dead worried too what a dbag! sorry OP
It's not up to the technician to make a diagnosis -they are just there to provide info to a dr who makes an informed diagnosis. Maybe he just said that cos he ate some bad sushi. Coulda been so many other reasons to say that.
Maybe he wasn't commenting on u but was on fml while administering the x rays

Actually, he can't say jack shit to him. He's a tech - his job is to take the X-ray, not to interpret it. It would be ethically reprehensible for the tech to tell him anything. It's just as wrong for the tech to say what he did.
Wow, the amount of ignorance swirling around here is staggering. You're all wrong. The tech is not supposed to say anything, so no one got trolled. And the amount of radiation from a chest X-ray is 0.1 mSv, or the same radiation you're exposed to just living for 10 days.
