Today, I had a note to skip P.E. that my grandpa had written because my mom was busy. His handwriting is terrible, so they didn't believe that he'd written it. I'd twisted my ankle and I got to run another mile for "lying". FML

Apparently only kids in school are allowed to have poor handwriting these days...shoulda said your grandpa was a doctor, that'd clear it right up

Oww. If those staff suspected anything, couldn't they have checked the ankle? Our staff could have.

You should've called them for proof......Running another mile with a twisted ankle, really.....

You can't really blame them tho lots of kids must try that

how do you limp whilst on the bench?

You should've told them to call your house

Why didn't they just call home to confirm ?

Nobody thought to call & validate anything with your grandpa???

I would've laid on the ground and been like make me run, MAKE ME

I did that once. The coach let me lay there until the class period was over ;P

If they doubt your credibility, then they shouldve been at least decent enough to give him a phone call. FYT (**** your teacher)

Well in most cases the school would or should have called to verify it. If not might as be like most of the world and sue a hook district for potentially permanent damage
