they are your children. bust the ******* window because its too hot or too cold. im 17 and ive got beter maternal instinct than you. POO poo on you P

are your kids retarded? or is unlocking doors to big of a task?

I did that once, when my son was about 16 months old....I closed the door before I realized the passenger door wasn't opened (as that was part of the plan). I was a frantic mess, however he peacefully slept the entire time, while I too waited for AAA. He slept the entire 45 mins, while I stood next to his window sobbing. All is well, he is now almost 14 and can unlock the door, if I lock myself out again. :) Life lessons, you are NOT a bad parent!!

I was locked in the car once and my babysetter forgot all about me till 2 hours later when she had to go to the store...and your not a bad parent you just didnt think(= alots off ppl do things like that

it happens!! I've known many parents that have locked kids abd keys in car and house, abd many toddlers that have locked their parents out if the car or house. :0)

Wow, people get judgemental when kids are involved! I don't have any myself, but I hear they are quite tiring and can leave your brain feeling frazzled - why are people so surprised that with juggling them and other things into a car, you might put your keys down for a minute and accidentally shut the door? I bet the people with the most vitriolic posts on here are either a) not parents or b) those boring people who do NOTHING other than talk about their kids, think that you're only a proper woman if you're a mother, judge anyone who doesn't spend all their time baking/sewing etc etc etc...
