Today, I had to calm my hallucinating mom after she accidentally overdosed on one of her pills, then spend ages trying to protect her from the "monkey" on the wall. FML

if anyone knows what your going through it's my mom. My grandma constantly overdoses on her ambien and hallucinates from it. She would believe me or one of my parents is in her house, she once thought there was a little girl in their lunch booth, and recently, she thought there was a gorilla in her bed. Certain medicines can be wicked. I recommend speaking with your mom's doctor on getting her on a medicine that doesn't make her hallucinate.
