I agree. It was an insensitive thing to do and OP is probably genetically predisposed to alcoholism but that doesn't make him an alcoholic...yet. Still, try to keep it away from your mom. It's hard enough drying up without the temptation staring you in the face.

alchoholism is a desease and yes it is in the genes but it has to be yr direct parents not gma or gpa unless it was all four but you can fight it but it doesn't mean yr going to be an alchoholic it just means once u get use to it you'll start enjoying more then others and it becomes real hard to quit
