Today, my mom took me to an AA meeting because she said I needed help. I have never tried alcohol in my life, and told them this. I was then harangued by the "instructor" because apparently one of the signs of alcoholism is denial. FML

Today, my mom left the house in the morning, leaving me alone. I called and I got no answer. Hours later, she finally answers one of my calls and tells me that she'd been in an AA meeting all this time. Happy, I tell her to come home. She came home drunk. FML

Today, I was feeling sick and ended up throwing up as soon as I got home. My mother's first question was an accusatory, "What have you been drinking?" I was returning from the AA meeting I have been attending for over a month. I go because I'm afraid I'll become an alcoholic like her. FML

Sucks for you. Just cause your mother is an alcoholic you look bad for bring hung over even though it's a very normal experience for most people. I feel you.

Err... No, that's not the way it works. It's his mom for christs sake, her problems should not be his problems. She should get herself to her own meetings in the first place and start acting like an adult. This FML is wonderfull ^^
