Today, I have a tooth infection that's spread to my jaw and ear. It hurts so badly that I'm practically in tears. Today's also the day I found out I'm allergic to the medication I was prescribed. Everything hurts, I'm covered in hives, and I can't stop throwing up. FML

Today, I missed my dentist appointment. I couldn't attend, because I was too busy puking my guts up due to a bad reaction to the pain medication I'm taking for my toothache. FML

Today, after suffering probably my worst night of appendicitis, which consisted of vomiting, diarrhea, and going to the doctor, starving, only to find out a couple of hours later in the hospital ER that I'm allergic to penicillin and close to dying. Again. FML

Today, I've been sick with both a chest cold and a sore throat. As a result, I've also been dehydrated, causing me to have a headache. Whenever I cough, I feel like my throat is being ripped apart and my head is about to explode. FML

Today, I found out I'm allergic to the pills my doctor prescribed for coughing, which I really need because I ripped a muscle in my stomach. Now my whole upper body is covered in a terrible itchy rash. I also found out it will last for at least another week. FML

Today, I have an ear infection. The pain from it radiates from my ear all the way down the left side of my face, so my doctor prescribed me something that makes half of my face numb and pretty much unusable. Tomorrow, I have to give a presentation on strokes for my med class. Go figure. FML

Pink eye, white throat

Today, I'd finally had enough of feeling awful and went to urgent care. As it turns out, the reason my throat was sore was because I have a sinus infection. The doctor explained my nose is producing pus, and that's what I'm swallowing and coughing up. Yuck. I also have pink eye on top of that. FML

That sucks, OP. I have dentinogenesis imperfecta, so I know the pain. Talk to your doc about getting different meds. Hope you feel better soon!

To all those commenters who never went to medical school: giving medical/pharmacology advice to posters is wrong on so many levels. What may have been effective for you, may NOT be effective for others, even fatal., especially for someone who is has allergic reactions to medications. Please consider this in the future.

I had similar issues... Might you have TMJ? - It's a jaw issue. I would have it all looked at by professionals... Need to go to an ear/ nose/ throat (ENT) doctor... Then you'll also need to go to a dentist... Get your wisdom teeth pulled and that cleared up my TMJ... Might help you. I had chronic ear & tooth infections... The pain is horrendous!! Get well soon!!
