Today, I have the flu. I had to wash the dishes, cook dinner, take out the trash, and take care of the laundry, all while my wife sat around watching TV, because she was "too tired". I work 8 hours a day. She's a college student. She doesn't see what's so unfair about this. FML

Sounds like a spoiled bitch to me.

I don't know about you but when i had the flu i had headaches, body aches, sore throat, and a runny nose. The last thing i wanted to do was move.

And yet you do all the work anyways. It's a shock why you're her bitch.

You could always share the flu with her...

These women make decent ones like us look bad :(

Armpit of Michigan. That's awesome. Best laugh yet on here!

Uni life is a joke I study full time and work full time. Anyone saying its hard better be studying a course that's 6 years plus. Otherwise you are just lazy.

Last term I was taking 7 courses, 3 of which had 3 hour labs once a week. I was on campus from 8:30-4 every day, plus I had around an hour commute. I spent probably another 5-8 hours a week studying and doing assignments. It would've been difficult to work part time and impossible to work full time. I'm not sure what you're majoring in that you can actually work 30+ hours a week, but it doesn't sound like something very difficult, no offense.

Let me guess, humanities major?

It depends what you study and how seriously you do it. I study full time, and I seriously can't see where I could put a part-time job in my schedule, let alone full time!

Unsympathetic biiitch. Some wife you got there

Damn! Sounds exactly like my husbands exes, except for the college part. I feel bad for you. She won't change either. My husband at the time went to work, did laundry, cleaned the house, did dishes, did the grocery shopping and cooking. And when they had children he had to take over when he came home.

Just remember that there are three sides to every story. His, hers and brute fact ( reality).

If you had the flu, you could not do all those chores.

Not that this isn't unfair of her because it is definitely not justifiable. But, being a college student isn't as easy as this post implies. But still, fyl OP.
