Today, I invited my boss and his family over for dinner. As usual, I bought his kids Christmas' presents, nothing too fancy though. This year, he had one more that wasn't here last year. So I just pulled something from under the tree to hand him. He opened it on the spot. It was my son's PS3. FML

YDI. Why would you chance it like that when you knew you had a PS3 under the tree?

You just gave him a random gift? Thank god it wasnt your uncles new hunting knife or yo momas new vibrator

Surely you would feel the present being heavy and see how large it is...

awesome. now instead of letting your kid sit on his butt he can go outside. naw, I'm all for video games, but a ps3? phhh what a waste of $400.

YDI it for creeping up to the boss. Stuff like that can really have a bad effect on a child. Or are you more concerned with sucking up to the boss than your own son. Shame on You.

what a way to ruin your child's christmas and a ps3 is not cheap

Why did you give them a random present? The kid was less than 12 months old for Gods sake.

Probably not under a year..... most one year olds aren't adept at opening presents. Having not been there last year doesn't mean he was born afterwards. The kid could have simply had a baby sitter the previous year, or stayed with family for the evening if the boss thought he was too young to come to the dinner.

You suck at writing. I couldn't understand what the hell you were talking about. I read the OP like 6 tines before I understood what you were saying.

Wow. How do you not know what you had under the tree? What about, "Sorry kid. Didn't know you'd be here. Here's 10 bucks. Merry Christmas." Might as well have bought off the kid, thats what you're doing to the Boss anyway. I feel sorry for your kid.

At first I was thinking that the extra kid was a college student or something. At least, that's what I imagined when I first read it. I think it would have been known in the office if the boss's wife had a baby recently. Not to mention the fact that there is no reason to grab a big gift for a baby. It's possible that the boss had been married before and either had a step-child there this year, or one of his children had spent the previous Christmas with the other family.

take the ps3 back. it's not your job to buy gifts for your bosses kids. hell! your boss makes more then you do probably!

hahaha you're sooo dumb... why didnt you ask how amny were coming, and why didnt you check the gift first...
