Today, I just bought a car with all of my own money. Then, when I brought it home my dad informed me that my mom will be driving it to work every day. FML

you tell your dad no she wont... its your car u bought it with ur money... unless she's going to make the insurance payments on it for u and full cover it so if she wrecks it she replaces it

How about offering to drive her to work? And asking them to contribute towards expenses in return? If you're dependent on your parents its in your best interests to help...not to mention that she's your mom and you should anyways...

That is a very good idea. OPs mom gets to work and OP actually gets to use their car

that makes a lot more sense although, if op really needs the car, his mother has obviously gotten to work somehow up until this point, so I think she would be fine a few times. that's my personal feeling.

Ydi, inform them she won't be or they'll be paying you to rent it from you

If it's registered to you just tell they're dreaming. You can report t stolen if she drives it.

Your money = your car. Oh no she wont.

And when your mom takes the car. Call the cops and report it stolen.

just say no? if you own it he can't dictate the rules

mom sorry but you can get on the bus

Hell no! She should be having her own car, not yours. You paid for it, you earned it. They don't own your car! And they don't have a say whether you're 16 or 18!

The lazy cow should get her own car! >=O
