You may only ever have one outbreak but of course the virus will always be with you. Avoid foods containing arginine, and take lysine supplements. Argentine exacerbates herpes infections, but lysine counteracts it. Chocolate, oranges, nuts - go easy on all these. And no, I don't have herpes.
