OP here! As one kid remarked, "That's a LOT of tape" and "But you're skinny!" If only he knew the whole thing. Yes, it was stupid, but when I took it off, I noticed that my fat was contained, and I looked thinner all day. Of course, no one deserves the pain of having it on or, even worse, removing it. (Those back hairs!) And let's not mention those blistering red marks. Still, it was worth the price. And no, I'm not fat or even chubby. I'm rather active--some would say hyper--and don't even eat that much in the first place. My weight and height are perfectly proportionate; I'm an average size. But since I'm not stick-skinny like my sisters, my family pesters me to lose weight. Besides, thinner girls at my school get more guys. I'd been sucking in for days, but I needed something to keep it that way. I sucked in when applying the duct tape, and since the fat couldn't get through its tight told, it looked as if my stomach were perfectly thin and flat. Sadly, some kids noticed and wondered why the heck my tummy was taped. I decided it wasn't worth the pain and I peeled it all off, awful pain and red marks included. I wish I could've cut it off; it would've been easier that way. After about halfway I excused myself to the bathroom to strip off the rest (the more painful parts) in a stall's confinement.

Just start eating less than you do. I stopped eating breakfast everyday and lessened my lunch and I lost fifteen pounds. Took me about about two years, but it worked. Now, I just have thirty-five more pounds to go (trying to get to 85).
It's not about eating less, it's about WHAT you eat. Don't stop eating breakfast altogether. It's the most important meal of the day! Just watch your calories and eat responsibly.
Too late. I stopped eating breakfast two years ago. I still do, but only rarely. The last time I are breakfast was this morning, but before that, it was probably over six months ago. And no, it's not the most important meal of the day. At least, not for me. That would be dinner...if my dinner actually is a meal, that is.
85 lbs is NOT a healthy weight... For any full grown man or woman.
it is well documented that not eating breakfast can actually cause you to gain weight and can mess with you motabolism. im not going to give you a big lecture as i dont always eat it either but you should really consider having something to start your day. you get a lot of tasty breakfast biscuits these days. as the person above me said yoyr target weight is far from healthy unless you 4ft tall or something. i mean at a rough estimate thats only 6 stone. not good at all.
Sorry. I don't understand stones. Anyway, I'm 5'4" and just want to be under a hundred pounds. I chose 85, but anything under 100 will make me happy, even if it's only 95. It's no big deal.
actually it is. there is 14 pounds to a stone (i converted it out to get a better idea since i work in stones more that pounds) i my height 5'8 your ideal weight is supposed to be 11 stone or 154 pounds. even if you factor in build and lifestyle factors do you really think someone 4 inches shorter should be almost half the weight? (85+85=170).
Holy shit! I'm 5'4 and 140! (Though I've also got ample lady bits, but that's a topic for later discussion) I understand a healthy weight varies on body type, but there is NO possible way that could be healthy, even if you're flatter than a washboard. Question; if you look in the mirror, can you feel your ribs but NOT see them? If you can see your ribs, you need to start eating more.
It really sounds like you're anorexic. I've been there, and trust me, you need help. Never compromise a healthy diet for being thin. It's actually healthier to eat when you're hungry (within reason) and work out regularly. You'll feel better, and you'll lose weight faster. I wish you the best.

seriously now please read up on this or at keast see your doc before embarking on it. being underweight could even damage yr fertility. i dont like harping on at folk but this is worrying me just a little. please make sure you get all the facts and medical advice before you fully decide on yr ideal weight.

If you sign up for a sports team it may inspire you to actually lose the weight.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! Why would you use duct tape of all things if you wanted to bind your stomach? Sure it should've occurred to you to use Saran Wrap or something. Or just not bind it in the first place.
