Today, I learned that when a man in the row in front of you at a movie theater tells you to shut up, you shouldn't tell him to fuck off. He might be 6'4 with a short temper. FML

You are the worst kind of person, talking through a movie. You monster.

The worst kind of people are people like you, who do stupid crap that you shouldn't be doing or making fun of somebody, and then act like you're the victim after somebody finally retaliates.

I'm ok with people doing dumb stuff, we've all been there. What really ticks me off is people who don't have the decency to take responsibility and apologize when confronted. I can forgive you for talking but telling him to **** off is ******* anti-social and egocentric. I hope you lost teeth.

That was the part that bothered me the most too. It's bad enough OP was talking during the movie, but actually telling someone to "**** off" for stepping up and telling him to shut up for the rest of the audience's sake... The audacity...

Yeah its like people have no manners these days

Thank you for making this reference. It made my day lol

I scrolled all the way down here to find / add that comment. Ironically I actually had to tell someone to shut the f**k up during the screening of Serenity. They obviously weren't fans of the show.

You have to shut the f*** up during movies not because of the risk to find someone bigger than you but because it is damned unpolite towards all the others.

maybe your new lesson is that you shouldn't pretend to be a victim after you've clearly been an asshole. You were very wrong if you expected any sort of sympathy from this fml.

I hope he taught you to 1) shut the **** up when the movie is playing, because people payed good money to see the movie not hear you talk. And 2) not to be rude to anyone, especially when you are clearly at fault.

Well, if he's telling you to shut up, chances are you are being quite the chatterbox. In case you didn't know, that is rude and disruptive to those around you trying to enjoy the movie. YDI

Shouldn't talk during a movie and shouldn't tell people to **** off ..

YDI, dude. No one enjoys a Chatty Cathy when they pay good money to see a movie.

It has nothing to do with the other guy having a short temper. It's rude to talk during a movie. Everyone else paid to so the movie with your bonus commentary. If you have to talk, wait for the DVD and watch it at home.
