meg_xox tells us more.
So this is my FML (and I'm pretty overjoyed that it actually got accepted), but to everyone who is talking about the pipes...this is a house we're renting and we didn't know that the pipes were OLD (not cheap). And our landlord never fixed them because it would cost about $17,000 to redo everything. So we had to deal with it. And we found this out AFTER the basement was flooded. So while I appreciate your attempt to insult me, didn't really work =)

that stinks ( no pun intended )
I sure hope your insurance covers that.
Make a YouTube vid of it.
Your math is bad -- it does not come in greater numbers. It goes in as #2 and comes out as #2.
You MUST be stupid. How could you not know that? I'm 15 and I know that!
Urgh. The OP didn't actually believe that the contents of a toilet actually vanish when you flush the toilet. That was just how they were phrasing it. Usually when you flush a toilet, you think that whatever was there has gone and is no longer your problem.v
33 is retarded
Happened to me in the winter time, luckily my parquet floor sucked most of it up. My basement was ruined for 2 months while insurance was fixing it.... and my old was better then my new one :S
Such a shitty situation. You must be pissed (on). *Sunglasses*
