Today, I lied to my crush telling him I can play the piano. To 'prove' it, I recorded a video on my phone of a girl playing a beautiful piece. After I sent it, I realized my mouse cursor was in the center of the page the entire time. FML

why would you lie about something like that? Oh, I know, because he would NEVER find out about it of course when he would go to your place and ask you to play a piece. -next time when you lie about something make sure nobody can find out now or later YDI

You will never hear guys sitting around saying, " that girl is kind of cute. I hope she can play the piano." Not even Mozart or Beethoven would talk like that. OP, guys don't go crazy over Alicia Keys because she plays the piano. They go crazy over her because she looks like Alicia Keys.

You're a f*cking idiot. If you're going to lie so intensely to someone you'd like to date, you really don't deserve to be dating anyone. Playing the piano doesn't even matter, it's such a dumb thing to lie about. Check your compulsions because at the moment you're considered one of those creepy psychotic girls that nobody likes.

I've seen this trick pulled so many times; it's both boring and old. Also, if you're going to lie, at least do a good job of doing it. YDI both for being a fake and for being a poor fake at that.

So, how were you expecting this to turn out? You lie to him about being able to play the piano, he's impressed and wants to go out with you, and then at some point in the future he wants to hear you play -- but you can't. And then he never wants to talk to you again, because your entire relationship is based on lies. Maybe you should try to get someone to like you based on who you really are, not who you can pretend to be.
